Santa, I can understand how it would be a really long week if you had a booth all week.
One option you might consider is to get with one of your favorite groups to see if they would be interested in a Christmas night during NQC....they could have you there to do pictures plus they could either discount their Christmas CD or create a special Christmas CD package for the night. This would work really well for a group that is releasing a new Christmas CD next year but could also be effective for groups that already have one. Just a thought....

Parking is a real pain in Nashville! But I do love it there! And a lot of the country artist used to pop in and that was fun!
I was hoping for Charlotte when they made a move! Or they could come to Greenville! LOL

Looks like changes ahead. Indy, not sure about that trip, I can see the advantages but we'll have to see what happens.

Not wanting to be negative, but what would some of the advantages be?

Since the 'advantages are 2nd hand info' please take them for what they are, just what I've been told. Indy is actively seeking the NQC and is willing to sweeten the pot with incentives for them to come, also there are a number of hotels willing to give VERY GOOD RATES to those attending. Also we do have a lot of folks who attend from Canada and areas further west that this may be more convenient for them.
Now depending on your point of view this could be good or bad but there is also the possibly that being closer to Gaitherland would bring more Gaither participation.

They will dangle that worm until the fish takes hold. Rates were a lot cheaper in Louisville to start with and they have gone up every year. NQC can get a contract with the NQC Venue for a number of years where those rates won't increase but they have no control over the hotel/motel industry. What has the expo center done with parking, they have increased that price quite a bit, especially the in/out, during the time NQC has been there.
